i’m staring at the screen right now and i don’t know what i’m gonna write here. the weekend was sort of eventful but i don’t know where to start. just came from having coffee, trying on shoes we couldn’t afford and yoshinoya dinner (TEMPURA, FINALLY!) in ortigas with the bff and now i’m here at work on my day off browsing the web when i’m not supposed to. let’s see..

• was supposed to watch alice in wonderland last saturday night with my brother but we didn’t make it to the last full show. so i just showed up at work extra early thinking i’d be able to take advantage of the freezing sleeping quarters but instead i just had banana cappucino in 7/11 with an old gradeschool classmate.
• the following morning, me and the whole team went to antipolo for our office outing. so it was 50% picture-taking, %40 picture-taking in the water, %5 sleep, %3 eating our meals, %2 having regular conversations. that’s how we spent the whole time we were there.
• i didn’t want to leave the place. i had one of the most relaxing days so far this year. i had good sleep even for just a couple of hours. all of us had so much fun swimming, we didn’t care if it was two in the morning. i tasted the BEST pork binagoongan in my life and weird iced tea/strawberry/gulaman (i’m not sure what that drink was). the country air was just wonderful and even if the sun was up, the heat felt good on my skin. most of all, i had good company. best officemates ever. and i didn’t even have to drink so much alcohol or put make-up on. nobody cares.

now it’s back to reality. back to manila and back in my sizzling hot plate bed. back to waking up in the afternoon all sweaty. back to feeling nothing. back to waiting for things to happen. back to looking at my watch every five minutes. i hate it.
